Saket looks simple on the map, but moving here depends on where in Saket you live. Saket’s residential blocks have their own lanes and building rules, the district centre around the malls, hospitals and offices stays busy for much of the day, and the areas around it get tight fast. UrbanMove Packers and Movers has more than 10 years of moving experience across Delhi, and it serves Saket and South Delhi from its head office in Paschim Vihar.
Our team visits your home or office free of cost to check your goods and understand exactly what you need before we quote a price.
We offer honest, budget-friendly rates with genuine discounts on every shifting service, so quality relocation stays within your reach.
We pack your household goods with care and deliver them to your new doorstep quickly, without compromising on safety.
Reach us anytime through call, email or WhatsApp chat. Our support team is available round the clock to answer your queries.
The vehicle a mover sends is where most quotes go wrong — too big and you're paying for empty space, too small and your stuff gets left behind or double-tripped. Here's a quick guide from Urbanmove Packers and Movers so you know what to expect, and what to question if a quote looks off.

Parts of Saket have older DDA flats and independent floors. Some have a working lift, some have only stairs, and societies may allow shifting only at certain hours. The district centre is a different case. It has malls, hospitals and offices, so traffic is heavy and a truck needs the right slot to load without blocking the road.
The neighbourhoods around Saket add more. Hauz Rani, Khirki Extension and Saidulajab have narrow lanes where a big truck may not fit. In that case the team uses a tempo, Tata Ace or mini truck and moves the goods to the main vehicle later. Sheikh Sarai and Mehrauli bring office moves and older houses. In the monsoon, cartons and furniture get extra covering.
UrbanMove Packers and Movers Process
No two moves are the same, but our steps don't change: understand what you need, pack it properly, drive it carefully, and put it back exactly where you want it.
Our coordinator calls you to understand your home size, floor, lift access, moving date, and anything specific you're worried about — so nothing catches us off guard later.
Fragile pieces get extra padding, wardrobes are wrapped flat, and every box is labeled by room. Our packers have wrapped thousands of homes — nothing goes in loose.
We map the route before the truck leaves, not after. Our driver stays in touch with our office the whole way, and you can call us anytime to check where things stand.
We carry everything in room by room and set up the big pieces where you point. Need something reassembled? Our team stays back and takes care of it.
Last month we moved a family from C Block, Saket to Sector 56, Gurugram. Their flat was on the third floor with no lift, and the back lane was too narrow for our big truck. So we took the goods down to a tempo first, and the main truck waited on the wider road. The tricky part was a glass-top dining table that could not be laid flat. We wrapped it in foam and edge guards and carried it down the stairs standing upright. Everything reached Gurugram the same evening with no damage.
Malls, hospitals and offices make this area busy. Office moves are easier outside peak hours.
Older DDA flats and independent floors, so lift access and society timings are checked first.
A residential pocket close to Saket. Parking and entry rules depend on the building.
Dense lanes and a busy market. A smaller vehicle helps at some addresses.
Narrow lanes. A full-size truck may not be able to reach every door.
A mix of homes and offices, so both household and office moves come up here.
A residential area near Saket where flat moves need lift and parking checks.
Older lanes and houses. Vehicle size is chosen after seeing the access road.
Tight roads near Saket, so loading is planned around the space available.
A move from Saket to Malviya Nagar, Hauz Khas, Vasant Kunj or Green Park depends on floor, lift and parking at both addresses more than on distance.
Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad are common runs from Saket. Packing, loading and delivery follow the same steps, and transport is GPS-tracked.
Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Amritsar and Varanasi
Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Surat

We've seen enough bad moving days to know exactly where most companies cut corners. Here's where we don't.
| What You're Comparing | UrbanMove | Most Local Movers |
|---|---|---|
| The quote you get vs. the bill you pay | Same number, start to finish | "Extra charges" appear once your stuff is already on the truck |
| Who actually shows up to pack your house | Our own trained crew, not a random contractor | Whoever was available that morning, hired the day before |
| How your TV, mirror, or glass table survives the trip | Wooden crating and proper cushioning for anything fragile | A blanket and some tape, if you're lucky |
| What happens if delivery runs late | You're told upfront, and we stick to it | No tracking, no update, you just wait |
| If something gets damaged anyway | Insurance is offered, not buried in fine print | "Sorry, that's not covered" |
| The size of truck you're paying for | Sized to your actual load, checked before booking | Oversized truck sent anyway, you pay full price |
| Reaching someone after you've paid | Call or WhatsApp us anytime, 24/7 | Number stops picking up |
We had a lot of furniture and a few glass items. The team took their time with those pieces and did not rush the loading. -Rohit Sharma, Household Move
Our main concern was computers and office furniture. The team planned the packing accordingly. -Priya Nair, Office Relocation
We had mirrors, crockery and a large TV that needed extra care. The staff handled them separately. -Neha Kapoor, Household Shifting
The cost depends on distance, volume of goods, floor and service type. UrbanMove Packers and Movers gives a quote after checking your actual move.
Book 5 to 7 days ahead. Month-end dates and weekends are the busiest.
Insurance options are available for long-distance moves and valuable items.
Not always. Where the lanes are too narrow, the team uses a tempo, Tata Ace or mini truck first and shifts the goods to the main vehicle later.
Yes. Floor level and lift access are checked before the quote, so the right number of people is sent for heavy items like cupboards on upper floors.
Yes. The timing is planned around what the society permits, so tell us the allowed window when you book.
Yes. Computers, workstations, files and office furniture are packed in a planned order, with the number of vehicles decided by the office size and how easy it is to reach.
Yes, the team covers Saket and the nearby South Delhi areas, and moves between them are planned around the floor, lift and parking at both addresses.
